Watching the king corn video in now realize that corn is in just about everything we eat. In the video they show chemicals that they mix with the corn that you shouldn't even get on your skin. Corn syrup is no different than sugar and yet we have both in our foods. The two guys in the movie spent around $14 dollars on the seeds and did not make a profit and it only took the 18 minutes to plant all there seeds.
For a week i tryed to not eat corn or corn syrup and to only eat beef that was grass fed and not grain fed. The way they get the cows bigger and ready for butchering is to keep them sucluded in the barns so they cant move around and lose weight. This may work but the beef has less quality and is not how they should be raised. Doing this may get the more money and money faster but then raising grass fed beef.
After seing this i am now going to only eat grass fed beef and when i go out for dinner ask questions about the food i am going to eat.

Water
Water is an important thing in our lives today. I know there are people in the world that don't have a lot of water and there are people that have a lot. The people that don't have a lot of water live in some of the hottest parts of the world. I think it would be more sustainable to put water filtration systems on the sinks other than trucking bottled water. It is just as safe and far less expensive.

Truman show
-Truman Show
Truman's show since birth has been controlled and watched.
Truman is stuck in TV set and show.
Truman begins to question his reality.
Truman sails away to try to leave only to find that he is a prisoner.
Leaves ''cave'' when he finds the creater.
-Allegory Of The Cave
Prisoners are in a cave and shackled.
1 or 2 people escape from the shackles and now question what is real.
They hear the voices and question the shadows.
1 prisoner leaves the cave and comes back to tell the others that there world is not real.
I think they are alike because in each movie there are people that are not living a true and real life. they were born into a fake live and the others tried to keep them from finding out the truth and that the world outside was the real world.

Third Reflection
The Gods Must Be Crazy
-They live in huts.
-The boys have there own room and the girls do too.
-14 people in one room.
-Respect the earth.
-Take care of each other.
The people lived in piece and didn't own anything so there were no problems. The gods only sent them things that made there life better. One day the sent them a glass coke bottle. At first the didn't know what to do with the bottle, they started using it for everything and all is caused was madness in the family.
